MSC Renault Clio Williams GR.A
La Renault Clio Williams è anche una vettura da rally molto popolare: l'ottima maneggevolezza e la buona affidabilità, la rendevano appettibile per chi intendeva cimentarsi nelle competizioni senza spendere cifre folli. Alla base dei modelli da competizione, c’era la Gr.N, equipaggiata con sospensioni da gara, una gestione del motore diversa abbinata a uno scarico più libero. La potenza era di circa 165 cv (121 kW), mentre nell’abitacolo troviamo un rollbar realizzato dalla Matter France e i sedili a guscio Sabelt. Il passo successivo è la Gr.A, dotata di cerchi da 16″ Speedline 2012 con estrattori opzionali, sospensioni ulteriormente migliorate e il motore da 205 o 220 cv. I freni anteriori sono maggiorati, con dischi da 323 mm e pinze Alcon a quattro pistoncini. L’ultima evoluzione è la “Renault Clio Williams Maxi”, kit car con archi passaruota più larghi, cerchi Speedline 2012 da 17″ e sospensioni Proflex. Il motore, elaborato dalla Sodemo, eroga dai 250 ai 265 cv.
